While I agree that without a doubt marlin crawlers adapter is superior in every way this statement isn't true. When I was building my truck I got an awesome deal on a tg adapter so I ran it. Now with over 20k miles and 30 wheeling trips on it it's still holding up just fine.

Give it some time. My inchworm with a single row bearing started to strip the splines 20k miles in. Didn't fail, but would have in another year.

Only way to confirm that coupler spline wear is not occurring is to disassemble the case and inspect the splines. Just because it "has not failed" does not mean that fretting is not occurring.
