Go to a different DMV with a Bill of Sale listing all the vehicle info (Lic. Plate No., VIN....) stating that... "I (legal owner's name), am gifting my (year, make and model) (license No., Vin) to my brother (your full name)". Along with a date and both your signatures on said Bill of Sale and all the properly signed Pink Slip paperwork and you should be good to go. This is the method I've employed many times. This will work as long as the vehicle is still currently registered and not already currently requiring a smog for registration renewal. It never fails. You kinda have to have a good poker face too. So you have to go in there like you own the place and the whole story is legit. It helps me to consider all the
they've done and do, so I look at this as just some small degree of retribution for their antics and a good edge for us.
