remember also that you would have to mod the front axle housing to clear a ring gear on the oposite side.  The high pinion uses a ring gear on the same side as standard therefore necessitating the reverse cut gear.  In the front it really is easier just to put in the high pinion.  Now, if somone where to make a high pinion with the ring gear on the oposite side and then modifies a rear housing, that would be the way to go, because it would run on the drive side of the gear.
