Use Marlins new transfercase that disconnects the rear then use reverse ???

I think it would be easier to find someone to cut the proper gears for the high pinion to run in the rear. The gears are allready cut for front end use.

The other way you would have to make a extra gear drive to attach to your transfercase. That would cost more than going with a high pinion from the start.
