Lets See a picture with Shackles?
would you trim the frame so that the spring don't bottom out on it?
That's pretty cool Kyle...
Not sure that it would. I'd cycle the suspension before I notched the frame just to check. Thanks, I agree, however it may lower my rear too much and I may not even do it. I'll have to check that out when I get home.
Then add another leaf
So, I am thinking about mounting my shackle hanger on the inside of the frame for the rear, this should lower the rear a bit and I think it will work. What do you guys think?
I think Im gonna loose more blood
Cristie says you have to clean up the blood you left in the back yard.
should'nt you do it 'cause it was YOUR grinder
Geez you're demanding.
It kinda sucks for Dave though, that's not an easy place to weld, might have to use an Arc welder for this one...
Just remember Dave: You have to be 3% smarter than the equipment you are trying to operate.
I remember reading some 4x4 mag that covered some prerunner pickups, and they were running the shackle attachment point above the frame.
toyminator2000 – There has to be dumb people in order for there to be smart people
that looks pretty cool...what did you do on the inside of the frame? it is open c channel back there right? not boxed?
thats awesome...i wanna copy that
I have never seen that done on a yota..have other people done this? how does it work? did you have to adjust anything else? pinion angle? shock mounts? etc....
are you crazy Mini, first you let Yeller grind his knee instead of the truck Now your letting him play with
you just wish they were that big...
