Toyota Stout Truggy
« on: Feb 10, 2011, 10:15:49 AM »
So I started with the Boyer Truggy Kit.

Some Fancy Diff Covers for the Trex 60's

and some Interco Boggers

And a Huge Pile of Styrene.

And here's the Inspiration for the Build. (not the colour!)

Scratch Building a Body is a Daunting Task so I find its a case of get stuck in and see what happens. Drawings are all well and good but i find it easiest with a hands on approach.

Pictures to hand are a valuable resource

200 Pieces of Styrene in that Grill!!!

Sitting in Black Paint to look for the highs and lows

Painted

Weathering Started

I dulled down the winch and painted on some Logo's
Headlights are F350 Rollbar lenses

Every truck needs and Interior

Fully kitted out rear bed was next on the list

Windows were next clear styrene cut and shaped

Job Done

So the Rc4wd Boyer Kit its easy to work on and with a little imagination you can build a Truly Unique Rig.

Well I can;)

Looks a lot like the some-day-to-be-finished 4x4 Labs Stout.
