Hey Guys, picked up a new truck about a year ago, but haven't had much time to drive/mess around with it. I am looking for feedback on what I have and what needs to get done/ redone.

79 body, 82 frame,

Professionally swapped engine by RTI in Denver CO, 5VZ-FE, 3.4 liter, manual, (all out of a 99 4runner)
Detroit locker Truetrac front and Rear 4:88 gears
BFG, Mud Terrain T/A 33x12.5
Grant Steering Wheel
Flowmaster muffler
I just installed a Scangauge II in the dash

My list currently is this.

General
- Upgraded master cylinder
- Tube doors *maybe

Front Axle
- Marlin Heavy Duty knuckle gusset kit
- Marlin/ Davez / low range,  shock hoops /tower
- Front frame reinforcement
- Remote Diff breather Done
- V6 caliper swap

Rear Axle
- Davez or low range rear upper shock mount
- Potentially redo the lower shock mounts
- Do something to get rid of the sping blocks
- Remote Diff breather Done

So take a quick run though the pictures and let me know if you see any other items that need to be addressed, thanks!!

Personally I'd ditch that chain drive transfer case in leu of a gear driven case(rf1a) where's the rest of that trac bar? He could be your friend if he is installed.

If I have the time and money I would def plan on changing to a gear drive, maybe even move to 4.7 gears, I don't think i really need two since I am wheeling in MI, mostly sand, mud and dirt.

Traction bar is kinda on the list but at the end, I will determine after wheeling more if I need it sooner than later.

You'd be fine with a single 4.7 case. I run one in my 80 short bed and love it.

It is fun, but man at low speeds around corners it wants to constantly squawk the tires, no good for a neighborhood.

Oh yeah, I pulled the transfercase and trans shift leaver ball seats, one crumbled as I took it out the other was gone......WTF, how did this thing even work with it missing (Trans was the one missing)

Order already in to Marlin for heavy duty seats and socket

I wanted the short throw shifter kit from marlin but 300 bucks is just to much.....

So my trans shifter and transfercase shifter only had one gasket, some show a gasket/oil slinger/gasket.
