Ring and pinion

Ok so I have stock 4.30 in my 5 speed pickup, would I be better off to rebuild bad rear 3rd or re gear to something cheaper. I also have a good 4.88 rear so another option would be to re gear the front this way.

If you are going to run 32's or bigger, than run the 4.88 and regear the front.  If you are still on 31's or smaller, and can't swing tires and gears, rebuild the 4.30/buy a used one, or buy two 4.10 diffs and drop them in.
