confused!

I have an 83 toyota with a 3" lift with not very much flex at the moment. i still have my sway bar...which is coming out when i get the chance. which i know will help some. But i would like to get 63 inch chevy springs because i heard that that will give me the best flex, but everyone is telling me to use different springs..chevy, ranger, waganer, im soo confused, and i would like to get some info on which ones will give me better flex and be better for my truck. thanks guys

Chevy springs do give you great flex but they do like to hang on rocks and such because they are sooo long.  I have chevy's right now and if i were to do it again i would have done a 4 link with coils.

got a jeep also...but thats a hole different topic..haha..im not sure, my boyfriend told me it doesnt have a lift but my brother and his friend said it does. it doesnt look stock and i havent got a chance to really look at it. (i just got it)..so i couldnt tell you at the moment

stock toy springs flex pretty good..what kills them is the shock throw..Usally its too short so it limits flex..also if you do have a lift in the back that would explain no flex..Arched springs flex less..take off your shocks and try it..

chevys work best in 4runners,,You will have to build a custom pack for your rig by mixing and matching springs..every rig is different because of tires,,longbed short bed..There are so many variables..

Limit the amount of lift you put on..the flatter the spring the better..If you need more just start cutting sheet metal..

there should be more of us! pink is the best color ever and everything should be pink. i should meet these other two pink toyota lovers.
the reason i let him boss me around about it is...dum dum dum...its not payed off i still owe like 1000 dollars...lol..when its payed off..pink paint will be flying. hahah.
anyway thats guys for the help. I think i might go with the 63" chevy springs, only because they are the most expensive and i found a place where they are 16 dollars each rather than 100 for the set..so yeah.    wish me luck..haha

I would change the shocks first but if you can get the chevies that cheap id snatch em up
