Need help w 79 cj5

Runs fine at idle but rpms drop and tries to stall during takeoff. Any thoughts would be helpful.

is it the stock I6 motor with a carter carb on it, if so it sounds like clogged idle tubes, it a common problem with these carbs, can be fixed without removing carb, plenty of articles on the internet

It's the V6. I believe it's stock. Not too familiar with jeeps it's my pops rig. I will check into that.

I believe 71 or 72 was the last year for a V6 (Buick).
