A/C Reciever/Dryer/Accumulator
« on: Jul 25, 2015, 03:36:49 PM »
Gonna need to get a new A/C Reciever for my 85 4runner.

Is it worth getting OEM from dealer?

Heard parts store 'Napa, Oreilly, AutoZone, etc' use a rebranded reciever made by Four Season's.

I don't know much of anything about A/C components and if off-market is fine or if sticking with OEM is the way to go.
If I don't ask the stupid question, who will?

85 Runner, 22RE, AEM 'warm intake', TRD Cam, LC Headers, Dual Case, 5.29's, ARB Front Locker, Detroit Rear Locker, 35's, V6 Brakes, ARP Studs, Marlin Arms/Caps/Hy-Steer, Winch, Armor, Can-Back Top....and...

...more Gremlins than Gizmo the Mogwai was responsible for.

You don't need OEM.

Try rockauto   (and don't forget the 5% discount  (just do a web search if you need the discount))
