Nice, but pretty intense line. Why not come in high and wide? Not enough room for the corner I suppose.

:beerchug:

I tried going really high, I think it would've flipped me into the whole. I tried going as high as I could before that but the angle pitches you back into the hole.
shortly after the last pic I broke the output shaft. Oddly enough when it broke I was no longer bound up at all, just kinda popped.

Yes they are allieds, I like them. The price was right and they work well, this will be my second year on them.

The picture is Patriot, running it backwards. Its located in Penrose, Colorado.

Oh and the alcans in the rear are great, excellent spring. Full bodied they flexed great, nice and stable. Once I cut the back off, not so good. Added 1 ton axles, back to good.

I've had to add a traction bar, built it this weekend to save the rear springs, they're getting an ever-so-slight "s" shape to them, I guess the 1 ton axles are creating LOTS more wrap than the toys could ever do...

:drooling: I think I've seen that truck before. Do you live in the Golden/ Lakewood area? It had to be you. Can't miss the exocage. I used to live in Lakewood a couple years ago.

When my runner was full bodied the coils flexed great but now with the back
cut off the coils ride really stiff.
Oh well it's time to go to leafsprings anyways
And I thought I was the only hillbilly with all 4 doors off my runner :hammerhead:
Looks great, really dig the black exo-cage on the white paint.
Roll me back over !!!

Made a few changes recently, I decided to cut off the exo and add an internal cage instead, and then I decided to cut all of the body off behind the front seats...
I used a pro tools bender for the job, 1 3/4" .120 HREW for the cage. Then I cut off my sliders and made new ones from 2x3 .250 square tube(the old ones were REALLY smashed up)

I ended the cage at the crossmember in between the tires, as this winter I will be linking the rear with air shocks, and the front will be coilovers. I figured this way when it gets linked I won't have to re-work the cage and I won't have any frame overhang when I am done.

here's another from the rear, I am really happy with how it works, suprisingly it isn't too bad with such low weight over the rear springs, it definately flexes much less but it is very predictable.

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I was tired of the exo hanging me up, so the plan was to cut it off anf build an internal cage, then I got that far and it was like, eh, get rid of the body too...I couldn't be happier, its noticable lighter, more stable, and climbs better now that its lighter.

I like it alot better w/o the exo... You should cut off all that frame behind the cab and back half it when you link the rear!
