Ok guys! Let's see your favorite picture of YOUR rig that was taken with YOUR camera!

I'll start it off like this :booya: Towing a Forest Service trailer for a Toilet Install at Mallard Lake:

How do you get your pictures this size?
This is a good question.

There are two ways to append images to a post.

First, using our forum's build-in attachment system. Some notes:
1) To conserve our server's hard disk space, we limit the size of attached images (current limit is 140 KB per image).
2) The images are resized by the end-user's browser (using CSS = Cascade Style Sheet) to only display at up to a pre-defined maximum width (I believe it's set to a maximum width of 800 pixels).
3) All attachments will appear below the post.

The other method is to forum code (BBC = Bulletin Board Code) to pull images directly from other servers. Some notes:
1) Doesn't use any of our server's disk space.
2) Doesn't use any of our server's bandwidth (we have unlimited bandwidth, but the less used results in a faster browsing experience so it helps our site load faster overall)
3) The image can appear ANYWHERE you place it!

That one I posted is linked from an off-site server (Facebook). To do this you use the opening and closing IMG tags as follows:

[img]......image....URL.....here.....[/img]

The image I posted was done using this:

[img]https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xft1/t31.0-8/1932543_10152516478962725_8015044966941025233_o.jpg[/img]

You can take it a step further and define width and/or height values (measured in pixels).
For example, to display the above image as 280 pixels wide, you'd use this:

[img width=280]https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xft1/t31.0-8/1932543_10152516478962725_8015044966941025233_o.jpg[/img]

Will result in this:

And as you can see I inserted the IMG code above this sentence so the image appears where I desire it to rather than below this post (which would have happened had I used the built-in attachment system).

Regards,
BigMike

ps. That thumbs smiley above was posted using IMG code rather than Smiley code. For example:

[img width=80]http://board.marlincrawler.com/Smileys/marlin/gap.gif[/img]

results in...

This is still my favorite.  From way back when I bought it.  Haven't gotten it out since I got it running again though, there will be more pics to come this year!

POSERS!!!

How about real action shots instead of those poser shots you guys have been posting. Here's my baby in complete stock trim with stock suspension getting it on Gold Mtn, no lockers no nothing. The only mod here is 1 1/2 inch shackles, who says a stock Toyota doesn't have good travel. Plus since my son was driving in this shot it was taken by me too. I take way too many pics there were so many to choose from.

The only ones I have in photobucket.

This is where we get our firewood, it is a rather steep climb to the top.  And it has some nasty ditches and water bars in it.  This picture doesn't truly show how steep this section is.

Just mildly stuck.  Nothing a shovel couldn't fix.

My favorite spot, exactly 22 miles of gravel road from my house!

Gotta love the coast range Mike!  The fog will follow the canyons and drift over the ridges and create these water falls.
