If you come straight (i.e. more left) out of the wedgie and keep your rear tire in the lowest part of the groove you can carry some big error and not worry about rolling.  If you put your driver's side tires in the groove it gets a lot more exciting and I've seen a video of a Nissan getting both uphill tires off the ground and I've followed a Tacoma through that gassed it and dumped it over.  The Cruiser may have made things more exciting than it needed to be by trying to work back passenger.  Looks like fun either way!

Sure wish I was there! I've been to MOAB a few times, but never for a Cruiser event.

Nice line out of the wedgie!  I almost always run the bottom with my drivers side all the way through. It is about 30 degrees most of the way.

Ready for the Launch Pad



By the time we got to the Launch Pad everyone has already finished it so I couldn't get any pics.

It is pretty basic. I suppose the main challenge is a steep ledge drop-off to the bottom of the rock, then just drive out. If you've got a Marlin Crawler then no lockers are required.

The group left and we just began catching up on old times. Wished I had taken video. Great conversations between Jon from All Pro and Marlin on how the industry developed-



From left to right:
Bryce on the left who has worked for ARB, Randy's Ring and Pinion, and Nitro Gear. Talked a lot about the early workings and development of the north American ring and pinion business, specifically Randy's

Jon from All Pro, talked a lot about the early products he developed

Joe from Colorado Toyota Specialists talked about his memories and experiences with Marlin and how the industry has changed

Marlin, well, he was just talking about pretty much everything

Great memory jogs for them all.
