My horn doesn't work, would they really fail me at tech inspection?  I guess I could get a bike honk honk and mount it on a mirror.

That would work. Usually a horn is on the "Recommended equipment" list and sometimes the inspector will check how loud you can yell

I have done breakfast at that Denny's several times.  Super 8 was our lodging of choice for the first several years of going to Moab.  Denny's made for an obvious breakfast place.  Try to hit the Jailhouse Café for breakfast at least once before you head home.

Not sure if you guys can read this, but here is what you're missing:

I understand the early departures for the Golden Spike and Elephant Hill, but I can't think of any reason to leave early for Cliff Hanger unless they are trying to do more than one trail or just wanting to avoid a traffic jam with the other groups headed up the same road.

With only two days to wheel it's hard to pick which trails I would do in your shoes.  It's hard to question Hell's Revenge as it's the ultimate trail for slick rock.  I think I would have suggested the Golden Spike over Poison Spider, but you probably need to be back in town earlier than running the Spike would allow.  You'll just have to come along on my next trip in a couple years and expand your horizons.
