89-95 custom double cab ??
« on: Feb 07, 2015, 12:31:01 PM »
I have seen a couple 90-95 4Runner's modded into a double cab, using the rear part of a 89-95 cab. Most of the were lowered mini trucks but I wanna see how people cut the cabs, fit the glass and all of that, I don't just want a bobbed cab runner I want it to look legit like a double cab. But I have to see how it all goes together and hot the interior is done up.

Search on yotatech there was a guy on that sight that did it to a 95 and it looked good. I was going to use his ideas when I had a 95.
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

While unique, it never quite looks right to me.  I'd rather get a true factory 4 door cab from overseas, but importing costs are massive.  If I ever become independently wealthy I will begin sourcing and importing first to 3rd gen 4 door cabs  ;)
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

Local guy imports these little trucks, offroad/farm trucks from Asia for all the farmers and such.

Well, in his last shipment, he had them slip in something else in the container.  He has been driving around a 3rd gen crewcab, flatbed, RHD, with a 3 liter diesel.  He says its fun to drive.  And he uses it on the farm mostly, but you see him in town.

Too bad we couldn't import more of these cheaper.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

4THEWKN~9/17/2006  If it wasn't for you, I'd be driving something other than a Toyota!

I was under the impression that if you had a diesel truck imported it had to be cut in half to keep from being used for   emissions reasons?
