Broken Tail Housing - are all the same?
« on: Dec 03, 2014, 01:49:08 PM »
I have an 85 Toyota 4wd - One corner of the tail housing is broken where it connects to transfer case. I have tried calling the shop but cant get through.  How hard is it to swap this tail housing? Does the tranny need to come out?

I am wondering if Marlin can sell me a used extension housing or if I should head for the junk yard. If I do that are all W56 4wd tail housings same from 85 to 95?

Thanks

I'm guessing W56 C and D will be different because they have forward shift transfer cases
built not bought 89 4runner
vortec v8, r151, dual cases
4link 1/4 elliptical
