Basically works on the same principle as an oil cooler on a Diesel engine.

Yep, it is a "heat exchanger" they are used on a lot of different things!!

I made mine, 2 inch copper pipe, with 10 ft of 3/8 spiraled inside of 2 inch, you can see in rig gallery

My wife bought the whole kit years ago at Sierra Trek. I do not think he is still in business.

A little search resulted in most buy Co-Axial coils, marine oil heat exchangers, or make their own.  The guys over at Ih8mud have some sick setups.  The cheapest route would be copper coil in a 3" pipe, copper brased or galvanized pipe.

Friend of mine made one out of 3" PVC and copper tube on the inside. Worked great!!

Damn, I had an older marine heat exchanger I threw out when I moved in june!
