opinions on a possible 3rz deal
« on: Aug 09, 2014, 10:12:51 PM »
As some here may know I have big dreams of going 3rz in my 22re powered first gen. With All the talk of 3rz greatness going on I am having trouble pulling the trigger on a RE rebuild.
I found a 98 auto taco. Its been rolled an has 192k on the clock. I started it up and it didnt run great they said I can come back an play with it and see if I can straighten it out, may just be a vacume leak. I can get everything needed from the truck for $1100 what do you guys think? 192k is alot of miles.

I think that is high.  I sold my t100 with a good running 3rz for around $850, and he ran it for around 5 years problem free after doing the swap.
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!
