How did you deal with the horse collar crossmember when you lifted the transfercase?

I cut it out. Ran a piece of pipe through the frame where skid plate rest on. Moved fuel tank to rear frame rails under the bed

I went back a page, I think I see the pipe in one of your pictures, it has a bracket with bushings on it.

One bar with the bushings at the frame is tcase mount.

The second bar is whole saw through the frame and  I used to run a track bar off that single bushing when I had toy axles.

looks like the tire had a disagreement with the wheel and they parted ways.  :boozer:

They worked out their disagreement with a strap and a little lift. My little compressor took forever to get 20 psi

Now the compressor is resentful towards both the tire and wheel. Great. Sorry man.  :bandit: :boozer:

how about ether? u every explode a tire back onto a bead?

Stew_pedaso

I keep starter fluid in tool box just in case. These are 14" wide tires on a 10" rim. Ratchet strap worked easily

Had a great trip last weekend at Dusy-ershim. We didn't get to wheel much of the trail with snow covering and no knowledge of the trail. Lakecamp is where we stayed and made it as far as a mile from ershim lake. We got 6" or so of snow on Saturday night

Need to get 14b wheel cylinder and possible new Chevy master cylinder. Had no brakes at the end of the trip :smack:
Also need to order DIY beadlocks from some where still. Tire issues are pissing me off :shake:

This trip was alright with the snow. 25% iroks did good in the snow but not on the rim. Felt like someone was running around airing down my tires. They were leaking out the bead at 10 psi :headscratch:
