1st gen: I need GREMLINS...uh GROMMETS
« on: Mar 21, 2005, 04:42:46 PM »
Well, I am in need of some grommets, mine are all pulled through and dry rotted, and they all seem to only come w/ the wiring harnesses, so I'm out of luck ordering OEM ones...anyone run into this problem?

I need the following:

(1) Firewall grommet on the passenger side for the main engine wiring harness about 2-3" in diameter

(2) Door grommet that goes on the end of the front of the door where the wiring harness goes into the door

(2) Body grommet that goes into the body right inside the door that has the same wire as above running through it.

Anybody know where I can get these or some other options?  Boneyard is obvious, but I'd rather have somethine new, not already as old as the ones I got.

go to a hobbie shop and get some silicone rc car or plane fuel tubing and cut it down the center then cut it to length and put it in you can even get different colors :beerchug:
