im helpin my cousin work all the bugs out of his 90 ex cab, and theres quite a few things to address...he blew his 22re a few years ago and then decided to do a v8 swap...i tried to talk him out of it knowing he didnt have the money to do it properly but he did it anyway so i helped as best i could...long story short it never really worked out for him so i started gathering wiring off a 2wd taco i came across and i already had a 2rz i been hangin on to for a couple years....so now we do work so he can once again have a reliable wheeler

what were guna get him started with is:

98 2rz motor
w-56 trans with stock duals he picked up for 500$
hes got a dana 44 front and a 14 bolt rear
Custom built heim joint high steer with assist
sittin on 35 boggers with 4.10 gears

just guna get him set up with a good power plant and decent trans and case then he can add more goodies to the axles he already has.

Got some more done on the dash wiring. I cut the plate that holds the turn switches off the taco colum and used it on the 3rd gen column.  Plug and play

I was able to use the taco ignition and turn switches on the 3rd gen column to keep the tilt column. The taco column was no tilt.

Looks pretty much how I laid mine all out/in. It just seemed really easy since 99% of the connectors were the same, and everything works!

so whats the deal with the 2wd taco dash wiring having no clutch start cancel? this is the third 2wd inter harness ive messed with on a couple diff projects and im assuming they dont have it...some times i like to push it and start my truck without hopping up in the truck other than that i think its ok not to have it...

One of the things on this truck that needed attention was the steering.  Here's what I came up with. 3/4 heims, 3/4 misallign spacers, 3/4 bolts, 1 1/4 x .120 DOM
