Anyone have an opinion on what VHF comm channel would b a good one to work off at koh as to not bother everyone?   Standard rugged radio programming

I wish.  Last time someone invited me I was in San Diego.  Travis(lastname?)  offered me a ride along in his buggy.  When I got of the plane it was so cold I realized I couldn't go.

I had no ride and didn't have my cold weather gear.  My Montana clothes.  Probably your guys SoCal clothes.

I'll be there Tues to Sun/Mon.  Im positive the trails around the lakebed wont be useable during the event, but theres lots of trail off the immediate grid that would be fun to run as well during the week.

I don't have $1000.00 for a ticket.  Maybe next year.  My grandma's birthday is in Feb. --When I was there last year. 

I'd take pictures.  I'd probably be too scared to rock crawl anyway.  Get me in the cab and you're instantly top heavy.

Depends, could be fun if you win, or work if your broke. I'm thinking about going, but just so everyone knows Means is already fenced off and they will be charging to watch.

The pits and hammertown are fenced off. Unless you have a vehicle pass linked to a team or pit. Thats good in my opinion because the last few years its been chaos trying to get rigs in and out of the pits.

Wristbands are free or a $20 donation and you get a nicer wristband that shows your not a cheap ass.

My rig wont be, but hopefully some of guys with 4WU product will be.  I'll be at Gate 1, Trail Gear Ave. tent 228. Tuning up Racer 4509 and others for the their big days, if anyone gives a crap to stop by.

A lot of Yotas crossed the finish line today, well done guys!!  Brian was so stoked I though he was gonna cry on the podium :p There was even an IFS truck on course...and doing pretty well, LOL

I cruised up from AZ on Wednesday and came back Saturday. Had a blast. Weather was kind of rough the afternoon/evening of the main event, but can't complain. I had just as much fun watching people wheel at night on the obstacles as I did watching the competitors!
