85, 4x4, Steering Knuckle/Drag Link Ends Grease Locations
« on: Dec 12, 2013, 11:28:58 AM »
I found what I believe is the Steering Knuckle plugs.  Is it the 'Square Shafted Bolt' in the pic below?  Also, I am guessing I need a specific type of fitting to put on my grease gun tip in order to fill it.

I also greased 3 Zerks for what I believe are the 3 Drag Link end locations.  Two on passenger side facing up/out, and one on the drivers side facing in toward the drive shaft/diff.

I used the same grease for the drag links as I did for the driveline.

Can I get a confirmation on the Steering Knuckle plug with directions on greasing?

And are there more than 3 places to lube for the steering arms/drag link ends?

If I don't ask the stupid question, who will?

85 Runner, 22RE, AEM 'warm intake', TRD Cam, LC Headers, Dual Case, 5.29's, ARB Front Locker, Detroit Rear Locker, 35's, V6 Brakes, ARP Studs, Marlin Arms/Caps/Hy-Steer, Winch, Armor, Can-Back Top....and...

...more Gremlins than Gizmo the Mogwai was responsible for.

If I remember right the only grease point is where the J-arm connects.
