Need: Bumper, Lift, Misc
« on: Mar 16, 2005, 09:52:37 PM »
I have an '82 4x4 longbed.  I am looking for a new or used front tube bumper.  I really want a Marlin tall hoop but might have to wait if i can't find a used one. I am also looking for a 3-4" lift.  I want the 4" lift springs from marlin.  If anyone can help me out that would be great!

I got a nice tube bumper for a 82. Needs sandblasting and paint to look new. Uf you don't mind the rough look, just spray some rustoleum on it. It's not rusted all to heck, just scraped up. Where u located?

I really don't know what to offer.  I am not exactly made of money.  That's what college does to you.  What sounds good to you?  Did you have it on a truck?

Mine is off the truck. The mounts are still on the frame, easy enuff to remove. But with the weight and bulk, not sure you'd want to pay to ship it all the way to NM.

The sunroof would be fine to ship.  Know anyone in the lower 48 with a bumper for sale?

I had the front and rear Smitty's on my "85.  I foolishly let my back one go, w/ a receiver, for $ 50. I think they are about $250 new.

if you can make brackets for it i'm guessing it would but i'm not posative. Its pretty heavy and don't think it would be worth to ship.

Thanks guys, I ended up ordering a custom bumper from Badland Bumpers.  It's going to be sweet.  I am still looking for a lift kit though.  Anyone have any reccomendations?  I want to run a set of BFG 33 10.5 R15.  I have an '82.  What lift would be the best for on and offroad use?

I have a 3" lift that was on my '81.  I run 35's on it with no rubbing, but 33's would be ideal for this setup.  Comes with 3" lift springs and shocks.  $250 obo
in the projects nooga, anything goes
