Yeah the community is really strong and exploded even before the car was released. Crawford has a built motor making 450 HP and 500 ft*lbs of torque.

ft86club.com is one of the bigger ones...and the one I post at.

Pictures of the nylon nuts installed, bought an assorted back of them from Advanced Auto Parts, looks like it comes with 5 of the size you need. Also got a thing of plastic rivets/studs that seem to do the job for helping hold the cowling in.

Also a nice teaser pic of the brush on paint job I did! Stuff looks great, hammered finish is great. Much more durable than rust oleum hammered finish. Hammerite rust cap.

I saw the paint in the first few pictures and couldn't figure it out it looked like ice build up.  Your teaser worked now I want to see how it turned out and how you did it.  I am glad you found some of the plastic incerts.  I have found when cars get too old the dealership will not carry things so on small stuff like that I don't even try anymore.

Open can. Brush on, really simple and looks GREAT. Also if you scratch it on the trail you can paint right over it and not even be able to tell. I still need to paint the doors before I post a "finished" photo.

FWIW, we at the dealership have 2 sorts of customers that are hard to deal with.  There's ones like you, who have what we consider too much information.  Then there's the others, who race their FR-S's, never check the oil, then expect the engine to still be covered under warranty.  We had 2 cars come in at the same time, both with #4 rod bearing spun and ~1.5 qt. in the crankcase.

Hachi-Roku trivia tidbit: The refrigerant capacity of the A/C system is 13.75 oz., which calculates to 0.86 lb.
