Anyone in Sac interested?
« on: Mar 15, 2005, 08:49:09 PM »
I'm kinda curious. (no not like that, I have a g/f! :hahaha: )  I am looking at moving out of my apartment (loosing one of my roomates, rnet is too expensive for 2 people ) and was curious whether anyone liked the idea of renting a house?  We did some checkin last year and found some decent 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garages for 1050-1300.  I was thinkin that if 4-6 guys split the rent, that would be a decent rent price, you'd have a garage to work on your rig, a yard for BBqs, and so on.  Rent is insane now, especially for college students, so I thought this might be an idea to consider :dunno:

Anyone else bothered by the number of times sack has been mentioned in this thread?

subject is "anyone interested" and the first line is I am kinda curious

ha ha  :stopit:

Apartments and dorms suck, no place for anyone that likes to tinker at all! There are a few rentals around me, I wouldn't have to even think about it - run while you can!

I would definaltey be in, but I did the Air Force thing, I lived in Fair Oaks. But I would highly recommend it, I will never live in an apartment. No place to work on truck, noisy neighbors beating there wives and stuff. I pay 375 a month and Its just me and another guy in a three bedroom house. Just shop around, I know Davis rent prices are rediculous and some landlords know students need a place to stay so they actually charge more if there are roomates! Duplexes can be cheaper too, but you have to be a little more polite with door slamming etc....     :twocents:

Plannin on doing this kinda over the summer and next fall

Jared that might work out well, cause I dont know how long I will be in the rent for, I might be moving to Reno next Dec. and I think Ruger might be hjoining the Army.  Waffler isnt sure what he is doing yet, but if your buddy is looking to rent for 6 mos. or so to build up credit, that might work out nicely
