I acquired two rifles recently.  In the .17HMR caliber.  I have to really look them over, just haven't had time to do that.  Been busy.

And it only cost me a 30 pack of Keystone Light!!  :booya:

I scored some FREE firearms today.  Step dad decided to give me a shotgun.  Until my mom found out what it was and worth.  So, my step dad decided to keep the P. Beretta BL-4 20 gauge over/under that is worth at least $800-1200.  But he did give me these two guns.

Winchester 1400 auto-loader 12 gauge that was his dads duck hunting gun.

And this non matching numbered 1917 9mm Luger, with correct mag.

I need to save up for another gun cabinet.  I'm running out of room.  I had to get my guns from my step moms house, since my step brother moved back home, and he's a thieving piece of :pokinit:.   :snare:

You could downsize the collection.  Keep the small locker and send me those extras that won't fit.

I'm trying to find out more info on the Luger.  Cause I am NOT a fan of them.  It is a beautiful piece art.  And for being almost 100 years old, it is tight and still can see the machining marks on the action and frame in areas.  There is alot of sites/forums on them, I'm still having issues with trying to get a ballpark price on it.  A firearm forum I belong to, I learned to keep what I have quiet, cause I asked a gun value once, and my PM box had hundreds of PM's wanting the gun.  I talked to a local gunsmith who said he is a huge Luger fanatic, told me that its worth $1500 as it sits.  But I have a hard time believing that 100%.  But everybody in town says he is the best.  But I want a second opinion on that.  So, I'm trying to find somebody out in the Willamette Valley that I can go to.  Got a buddy that wants it BAD!!!  But he needs to know if it fires and cycles properly first.

As for the guns safe/cabinet.  No, I will not stick to the small one.  I'm gonna have to save up and get a bigger one, or another one.  My house is small, would love for a Gun Vault.  But getting one in my house would mean tearing out a wall to get it in, and it would be the centerpiece of the living room.  And wife wouldn't go for that at all.   :shake_head:

I've murdered a lot of cans with a Crossman just like that one. Still have a couple of air rifles. They are great fun and good cheap fun for the kids to learn with.

Oh and Cheese that is prolly a good estimate on the Luger. They are excellent pistols and were expensive to build because they required a lot of hand fitting.
When you shoot it you may want to tilt it just a little to the left or right whichever is the most comfortable for you, It ejects the empties straight up so sometimes one will come down and land in the open breach and jam it. Don't hurt anything but it's a bother and can ruin a case. No biggy there if you don't save cases but I save all of them I can.
