Was up, anybody know a good place in visalia CA or Fresno im looking to buy reused steel metalI have plants to build a carport  and BBQ Smoker  and few others projects  I just get a quoted from few local steel distributors and WOW way out of my budget. Thanks

Price of steel is high right now. you need to find a demolition project that would let you take some steel.  Hard to find anyone to let you these days (to much liability).  The only one I know going right now is in Kingsburg, a church bought the old Dole plant on the south side of town.  They are demoing and recycling most of the plant.  Don't know who you would talk to though.

theres a metal recycling/dealer on cherry or east between jensen and north in fresno. you can cruze the scrap and take it up and they weigh it and tell you how much. I have gotten a lot of good pieces there, stainless, mild, aluminum...

I think it's called western something...

Go to Valley Iron. They supply a lot of metal through out central california.
