Just wondering what the difference is between the two bell housings, except the drain hole in the bottom of the housing for the R151F.

Just bought a R150F for converting my 86 4runner from manual to 5speed, its nearly impossible to find a housing for the conversion...have seen prices from 650 to over 100 just for the bell housing. :dunno:

The length of the bellhousings are different as are the bolt patter at the transmission front case. While your G54 bellhousing is compatible with any year G- and W-series transmission, it is not compatible with a R-series transmission. It will require a great deal of fabrication to make it fit. If you're considering this route, then you'd be better off making a hybrid half G54 and half V6 R150F bellhousing.

I believe the last Turbo bellhousing we sold we got $400 for it, and even that was discounted for a very close family friend!

Good luck mate!!

I just did a 3.4 swap and pulled my R151F bell housing off and stuck a 3.0 R150 bell housing on to mate up to the 3.4.

I was debating whether or not to sell my Turbo bell housing. I had no idea people were getting that much for them.
