Back at it after a ten year layoff
« on: May 31, 2013, 10:42:29 AM »
Hello guys and gals! Well after a ten year break I decided to trade my harley for a well built 1st gen 4runner so the family and I could get back into wheeling. Bitter sweet but I know I did the right thing. Anyways just thought I would introduce myself and hopefully get to know some folks to go wheeling with (tired of going by ourselves). So if anyone's doing some rides in the Southern California area PM me or call (760)608-2229 if ya got room for one more rig. We live in the dez in ridgecrest, Ca. Looking forward to meeting some of you and making some new drinking buddy's  :beerchug:

The Gear Grinders & Tin Benders originate from Ridgecrest, you can look up their contact info...

http://www.geargrinders4wdclub.org/links.php

http://www.tinbenders.org/

The Gear Grinders are more family oriented and the Tinbenders was originally formed as a sub-club (more radical children of the Gear Grinders) and became part of the driving force behind The King Of The Hammers event. If you contact either let them know you were referred to them through The Spinnin' Fours since some of the Gear Grinders were with us until they were transferred to China Lake.

Thanks guys! That's funny that you say that cuz I know and used to wheel with a lot of those guys. I was actually trying to contact some of them today. One of the perks of living in a small town for 30 years I guess lol. I used to do the Toyota jamboree with the benders some years back. It seems like most those guys have full on buggys now days though and I just got my little street legal 4runner lol.
