« on: Dec 12, 2004, 06:05:00 PM »
I just got a 1975 or 1976Toyota, 2wd with a 20R motor that's blown. It has a spare in the back. I can't find the year. On the door jam it says, Jan.76 manufactured  Nov. 1975. and this vehicle conforms to all applicable  federal  motor vehicle safety  standards  in effect in Nov.  1975. the reasin I want to know is im in ca and last I heard smog stops in 75.  I also want to do a sfa swap thanks for any help

Look at the pink slip or registration card, it will tell you the year registered.
From your post, your truck was built in 10/75 and sold in 1/76.
This truck will have to be smogged as a '76 :moon:
It does not qualifly for the smnog exemtion.
