hiluxfun

I'll list a few rigs I've hade over the years.

1980 hilux long bed--sold it--Regret selling it.

hiluxfun

75 FJ40--Sold it--no regrets frame was tweaked

hiluxfun

67 FJ40 with late model body 77-78?  Beatiful, but had a crooked v8 conversion, traded it for the 80 hilux-- no regrets

hiluxfun

74 FJ40--According to spector vin was a 73, according to DMV it was a 74,  this  was back whent the smog law was 73 or older--sold it no regrets

hiluxfun

91 4runner 4cyl-- loved this rig, served me well for many a years--slightly modded....single 4.70 case, spooled rear, lock-rite front, 2inch dowey lift, just enought to keep me wheeling without spending too much money, while I'll worked on one of my 40 projects.   TOTALED IT!.  Some lady ran a stop sign and T-boned me, rolled into an orchard took out a couple plum trees, bent a Marlin DOM rear bumper pretty good from the impact.  lady had no insurance.   My insurance company paid me for it and let me keep it,  parted it out, cracked frame--I really Miss it.

85 1ton--

Bought this of one of my brothers buddies.  My Mighty max way on it's way out  and I needed another little 4cyl pick up for my job, great little truck.  Had major timing chain slap, the guides had broke, and the chain eventually wore a hole into the timing chain cover allowing water to leak in.  Marlin helped me diagnose it.  I told him I was selling and he was interested, so I traded it to him for a Turbo trans and dual cases for my 80 hilux.  Cool little truck, you can still see it today over at Marlin Crawler.

1980 FJ40

Really Really Really Regret getting rid of this one.  Bone stock except for the wheels and tires.  Either traded or sold can't remember.  So impatient back then, didn't want to deal with smog, if I couldn't get it going in a month or two it was gone.  Didn't realize what a gem I had on my hands.  Really regret getting rid of this one, wish I had it back.

1993 hilux 2wd

great little pick up, good mileage and power, got rid of it because my new job required a car.  Wouldn't mind having this back to day, would make a handy little gas saver.

67 fj40 soft top and 77 hard top--Went back and forth on these for a while, switching bodies on frames and such,---Finally just sold the lot together, too many projects

99 tacoma LTD.

Loved this truck,  had it for about 6 years or so, it survived many wheeling adventures, 2 accidents and a couple of girlfriends.  Blessed with a baby girl, sold it and bought an FJ80.

This was a great daily driver/wheeler--some mods, not extreme just enough to be a good all aroud truck

Light Racing coilovers
all Pro Rear springs
All Pro UCA's
All Pro Front bumper
Marlin Crawler Rear bumper
u bolt flip for rear
shocks moved on top or axl in rear
Exhaust moved above leaf spring
