So between this morning when i asked what to do and this afternoon i went ahead and ordered 4.7 to run as a single, with the intention of doubleing up next winter. did i blow it? o ya, i didnt ask my wife befor i spent the $ ether. Think im in the dog house!!
duals for the man rigsingle 4.7 case for the women.duals with gearing and one rear locker is fun/challenging.
With regard to my rigs being manly or womanly, well, mine are totally wuss rigs, and I love them like that. I'd say for a man's rig you might want to try bald, patched, and plugged 28" off brand tires, open diffs front and rear with 3.90s, a worn out clutch, a manual steering push/pull box, no armor of any kind, a faulty weber carb, no gloves, no strap, no tools, no CB or HAM, and then wheel some hard and remote trails at night in early spring with some unexpected rain while working together or against some drunk wheeling buddies who never PM there rigs and envy yours because it's a 1979 SR5 4x4 first gen. "barn find" with nearly perfect paint, decals, interior, and sheet metal.
THATS ME THATS ME !!!!!
i have another question. i would like a set of bobby longs. what do i need to do in my 3rd? can i get a locker b4 i get the longs or do you have to specify your spline count?
............ordered up gears yesterday. currently begging for forgivness with the wife 8)
Just hold on to that spare t-case and remember that when it is time for duels that you will have to $ for drive shaft work as well as the $ of the adapter.
Cross member and speedo extension too.Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Don't need a speedo extension, just reroute the cable.
