Im converting my AC Compressor to OBA. Most people do the Oil in the air line then a seperator after. I'v heard of a few people taking there compressors apart and redoing them so they geases them and seal them and no need for the oil (i have two compressors so i dont want to use a York) I ve searched alot of forums and i cant find anything on this. Anyone know about this being possible or not.

OOPS

I have never heard of doing that, but anything is possible. I know that the Sanden rotary compressor has oil in the crankcase but uou still have to run a drip system with them, learned that the hard way!!!

I recently read an article about this in a 4x4 mag. I am going to try the same thing when I am done with my 3.4 swap.

A good article on modifying the Sanden compressor.

If you can get a hold of a Sanden and I think the numbers are SD07 they have real good output. I had one and burned it up, it has seven pistons. When I bought my 90 it had an aftermarket AC and that was the pump that was on it.
