I'm wanting to make my 4runner a little wider I have all my parts left over from my sas and I currently have 1 1/2" spacers on the front I was thinking about do ifs hub swap and 1 1/2 spacers on all 4 wheels or buy 2 3" spacers for the front and put the 1 1/2" on the rear my rear axle is an 89 v6. Any thoughts or ideas thanks?

unnecessary. Id do ifs hubs instead of spacers, but I hate extra bolts.

If you do end up doing the spacers and ifs hubs, check your studs regularly, if you already dont

Dingman.

I had a set of 39.5 iroks on bead locks and had lame backspacing so I ran 3" spacers up front and 1.5" spacers out back.  Now it was mostly snow wheeling, I never had problems but I did not like it at all.

Are three inch spacers ok? I was thinking about getting some? or should i go with 2 inch? :turtle:

some one told me 3 inchers put to much stress on the hubs True?

OOPS

They will screw up the scrub radius, put added stress on the wheel and trunion bearings. The IFS hubs will put added stress on the trunion bearings also and screws up the scrub radius. It is not bad on a trail rig but I would not like the way it handled if it was a DD.

If you do not know what scrub radius is, GOOGLE< BING or ASK will tell you.
