so I loaded 7 .45 ACP and this is how it went

first round good . . . .  well not really

second round  . . . . stuck in barrel

I loaded 4 more rounds with a smaller load, started with 46 grains, loaded 2 with 42 grains and 2 with 40 grains, to see if it makes a difference but now I'm thinking that maybe I shouldn't reload the ones like these, keeping in mind this is what I started with

these are the 3 shells that I have some have the lines and some dont, should I not reload the ones with the lines in them ? :headscratch:

Unless those are just very old cases and haven't been reloaded a bunch that line shouldn't matter.
What powder are you using and what weight bullet?  ( I can help a lot more knowing that.)

Also 4.2 grains is a starting load, you prolly shouldn't go any lower. That depends on what powder and bullet of course.
To low of a powder charge can cause detonation and pressure spikes. You get a bullet stuck in the barrel and send another one behind it and you have a ruined day at the very least.
