whats up guys ! my names blake im 19 years old, im from a small town in california, i work on offshore drilling rigs that were currently waiting on permits for work sooo... perfect time to start my build !started with an 86 2wd xtra cab that i got for free with a blown headgasket, $400 and 2 days later had a fresh head, timing chain, water and oil pump and a damn good running truck... with AC that works !  anyways heres some specs on what im doing...

- Solid axle (5"trail gear full classic front end kit i pulled out from another rig)
-5:29s locked
-14" bilstiens
-4x4 power steering box
-Hi steer
-Custom winch plate/bumper

REAR SUSPENSION:

-Toyota 8" rear with 5:29s locked
-Chevy 63" leafs
-14in bilstien resis with bed cage
-custom hitch/bumper

RUNNING GEAR:
-Toyota 4x4 trans with t case (duals comming soon but for now this is gonna do)

and let the tear down begin !  :beerchug:

A good buddy of mine has a badass welding rig, came over on saturday and let me use his torch to chop all the IFS crap off. got everything off and the shackle tube holes done in about 30 mins!

shackle tubes tacked up and chevy leaf hangers on.

as of yesterday all i had to use to tack everything up was a shitty harbor freight 100$ mig since my pops shop currently does not have a 220v outlet   so since i can use my 220 lincoln i decided to go pick up a new toy tonight ! so stoked ! weld pak 140hd that i can run off 120. cant wait to use her for the first time in the morning !

old trail gear hanger was bent to :pokinit: so i beefed it up with some 2x2 inner hitch receiver tubing. i feel alot better using this ! again everything in the pictures has just been tacked and full welds are comming in the morning

got the hanger tacked on and the front end rolled under for the night. (no where close to sitting where its going to haha)

im gonna be up early tomarrow burning the rest of the hangers on, just waiting on the trail gear bushings which should be here around 1pm tomarrow and than the front end will be on its own feet ! than im gonna pull the 2wd rear end out and throw my 4x4 rear with the 63s under it. I will be updating tomarrow and throughout the whole build ! its gonna be a fun fun thanks for checking it out
