Not new but looking for thoughts

First a little about  my rig

1985 4Runner SR5
4" pro comp lift all leaf
Several sets of tires for different things.
I plow with my rig in winter
Light to moderate trail.
OM617 turbo diesel swap.

I am to the point of looking at lockers and gears.

Tires sizes I run are 31-35"

Other than that a stock rig.

I do not want a lunch box locker.

I am looking at
ARB
ZIP
Detroit
Grizzly
Detroit Truetrac

Mostly a D.D. but I do have 3 4runners.

Not much highway.

I do pull it behind my motor home when I go camping.

p.s. I would be buying 100% assembled 3rds.

Thanks for the help and options

For you with plowing in mind I think I would go with a detroit out back, trutrac up front and either 4.88s or 5.29s. If you still really want to run 31s then 4.88s, if you will stay more 33s and up then 5.29s.

I wouldn't discount thinking about an aussie locker in the rear though, they are vastly superior to other lunchbox and we have 3 running in rigs right now holding up well to all kinds of abuse, towing and 35" tires.  Also my aussies have always been even smoother than the detroits I have ran.

Of course you can't go wrong with a detroit anyway...
