Knuckle pre load question
« on: Feb 11, 2013, 12:06:13 AM »
So I just started rebuilding my axle, and im about to shim the knuckle bearings and what not. Im just wondering if I have to put the cone washers back on the steering arm to check the pre load? I would think its a pain in the ass to put the cone washers back on and the load isnt correct.

Yeah you should do that, otherwise the load could be off. Just. Put some antiseize on them and they won't be as big of a pita.
