I am looking for some ideas for exhaust on my 86 22RTE . The motor is in a 1987 Toy Pickup, reg cab 5 inch Marlin lift. I think I can run it out the back or between the leaf and the frame behind the rear driver side tire. Any ideas?

I never liked my exhaust ran out the back.  I always ran it out the side.  So, I can motor my exhaust color.  That's how I could tell if I blew a HD in my old Nissan.  Or if your burning oil, you can see it.  Just run it out from behind your shackles.  I've seen many a guys run it in stock location and flex out the spring and smash the pipe.

Mine is run out behind the left side shackle, it was just fine there until I got longer shackles and now at full spring compression it hits the end of the pipe. I plan on moving it inside above the spring in front of the shackle and out.

Thank you for the information. Do you have any pics so I can show my exhaust guy? Thank you.
