Hello everyone. Just introducing myself and my 1983 standard cab longbed. 255k on the clock, needs lots of attention but will be updating as I go along. as of right now all stock, beat up and ugly. W series transmission (5 speed). L52 was broke when i bought the truck. will put up photos after 11 postings. Names Dave, Havent named the truck yet.

Hey Monyman. Thanks for the welcome. Ive had several toyotas but never a first gen (if thats what I have) 1983.
I live in New Mexico, starting a new hobby, No more motorcycle racing says the wife.

yeap, wife told me i couldnt get another honda/acura.. so i jumped on a truck. it was only the 16th one.. =) BTW, welcome to board!!

Yeah, the wife wasn't real happy with me on my motorcycle too!  I wasn't racing, just on road riding.  I miss it, but I don't miss the buttheads that blatantly don't see you!!

You're gonna be real happy with Toyota trucks especially a nice old '83. This is a good board too, lots of info, cool people and decent deals in the classifieds.
