Equivalencia Chevy 63"

Hello friends, I am gathering information on packages for my Hilux springs, the question I ask is this, what spring packs resemble Chevy 63 "?, I need to know what is the equivalent in another truck model for if you look for them and buy them in Chile, as ultimately want to buy packages outside my country.

I would put a tape measure in your pocket and start crawling under people's trucks.  Ford F150 springs work too...

The 63's were under the 90's style of GM (Chevy or GMC) 1500 2wd pickups.  So, look for that body style of rigs and you will be looking in the right place.  Like said prior, Ford F150 springs work too, but I'm not sure of the years.

Thanks for your answers friends, smite out the tape measure and ire to PIERCING to see what we have ... I've also heard that the C-10 has such measures approximate ...

Hello:

I found these packages spring a Work Truck Chevrolet here in southern Chile, have 61.22 "long between centers.

The question is: I served these packages to be placed in the rear suspension of my Toyota?.

sergiopablo4x4 those look to be the 3 leaf packs with overload.great for a pick up,not sure on how much lift it will provide you though.61 inch long leafs can work but wont be a true "chevy 63" swap but should be ok,depends on what your going for,flex,ride,droop.

Hello, it's certainly not the same as a Chevy 63 ", also that the package is a cargo van (Work Truck model) as well you say, why should I have to do well and they doubt not to be consulted with the package lying on the garage, I want to mainly use the truck every day but with a good flex when removed to route (rocks, mud cracks).

I'm not a fan of the 63 chevies but the Ford 2wd pickup springs from say 1986 to around 1995 but they need to be 2 1/2 inches wide. the 3 inch wide versions dont work as well

I hear alot of people say they hang up on the 63's more than any other spring.  What is your beef with them Glen?  I'm trying to find out what springs I need, but I really don't want to be piecing them together.  I want springs that I know will give me at most a 4" lift.   I'm almost to the point that I just want to order a set of springs from anybody that sells a kit for first gens, just to get springs under there, and then take care of it better later.   I really like the "Expedition" style springs that All-Pro sells.  They are flexible, and carry a load.  That is my main goal for the rear.

From what I've read here in the forum I will have to discard the packets of 61 "and go in search of the famous Chevy 63", here in Chile is not easy, but not impossible!

Also I watched several levantepara kits front and rear suspension, which would you recommend?.
