so ive got this 83 Cab, and ive searched and found some pretty good stuff, But Im a nwb in this sense,
What thickness metal would be good for replacing the floor pans

any one scrapping a 1stgen cab with good floors you can cut out?

any place sell replacement panels??

or have you seen a good walk through of a pan replacement, Im trying to get it stripped down to see what all i need to replace,  Il get some photos shortly   we got 5 inches of snow last night

I haven't seen any replacement floor panels... probably best to just cut some ut of sheet metal and fab up a frame to support it... the stock doesn't need a frame because it is corrugated

I just used 14 gauge sheet metal and cut fit and welded in place.  Works great

Did you have to replace the section that mounts to the frame? If you did, did you have to build some sort of reinforcement for the mount?

You talking about the body mount? If so, I'd say yes, "reinforce".
