Got tired of the walls closing in on me today, so I went to the Range  (empty hillside) and let me just say this, I love it when other people don't pick up there own brass, scored 2 lbs of clean brass today, now add that to the 13 lbs I have and I have allot of brass... lol - not to mention the shotgun shells left laying around, thanks careless shooters your loss is my gain. . . morons :)

Good score

And Thank You for cleaning up the mess.

I'm always amazed  when I find a mess like this anywhere, whether on the trail at the range or in a grocery store parking lot. I just can't imagine leaving a mess like this or a fire still burning in a campfire and walking away thinking, someone else will clean it up.  :smack:

And the worst part about it in our area at least, is that most of the mess up in our hills above Shaver Lake area is caused by our own kind. OHV enthusiasts, hunters & fisherman. Blows my mind.

Sorry, I will shut up now.

Good for you Dave!  My friends and I always leave the range cleaner than e found it
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

It's amazing the crap people will leave out there.  What pisses me off, is the fact that they will haul up TV's, old appliances and such, just to shoot up and leave.  The appliances are scrap metal, and most recyclers will pay for it.  TV's are full of heavy metals, that is poisonous to the environment, and most recycling/dump facilities will take them for free.

A buddy posted up some pictures of a vintage shoot out they had at a local rock pit a few years ago.  These were guys out shooting old Tommy guns, and vintage WWII weapons and such.  Most were full auto, and they were all licensed for them.  And they had layed out tarps all over the ground to catch all the brass, and any other garbage.  I thought it was an ingenious idea.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Ya tarps are good, you can get brass catchers too.
People that want the forests to be off limits are the ones that either dont use them, or fail to see its the yahoos who go out to just shoot or "test out" the 4wd that cause the problems
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

So get up out of your chair right now, go grab a tarp, and shove it in your range bag.

Don't say I never helped you out!
