3.0 just replaced head gaskets. Checked all sensors to make sure they were plugged in. And I rechecked spark plug wires and any grounds

Double check to make sure the vacuum lines are routed correctly.

Checked both vacuum n timing and it still does same thing.

I haven't worked on the 3.0 much but could the crank/cam gear not be synced? So when the crank is at TDC is the Cam at the proper location? I'm thinking that you may be off a tooth with the timing chain...

It wont rev past 1500 or you cant drive it past that?

Gotten taken care of. It was a bad throttle position sensor
