New Years 2013 Runs
« on: Dec 15, 2012, 12:22:33 AM »
Hey, I thought we could post up all the runs that are being planned for New Years Day (if we make it past the 21st   :talkingn: )

The Central Valley Crawlers will be heading up out of Lemon Cove towards Eshom Valley.

We had 12 rigs on our run.  All made it to General's Highway around lunchtime.

We met on Hwy 198 just below Lake Kaweah, and hit snow near Hartland Christian Camp.  The first part was icy, that made the lighter rigs do some slipping and sliding, then the last couple miles were the deepest snow with crossed-up ruts that would suck you into the ditch (ask me how I know).

There's a group heading up this route and beyond on Feb. 2 if anyone's interested.

4X 4Him club folks are planning a 2/2 run up through Whitaker Grove and down 10 Mile Rd. Should be fun!

I'm going, but I don't know how many others, or if any at all, are going. The link has meetup place in it.
