My uncle got one of these crawlers, I got to mess around with it a little yesterday and it seemed pretty fun. So now I'm looking into maybe getting one. But what do you guys think of them?
I don't want to spend over $200 because I really just want one to screw around with. Any opinions or other options would be great. Thanks guys!

I love hobbypartz.... however, a lot of their products are rebadges of other products and knockoffs. Generally their stuff is preetty good. But I think with rc vehicles, you get what you pay for. For a crawler, I would go axial

Well I got one, came in the mail today. I like it a lot, fun to screw aroun with and pretty tough. Haven't got to take it into rocks yet, maybe once it dries up I will. Also the charger is slow as hell. Anyways, pictures!

do you still have this 1/8 scale crawler? I know its been a while since you posted here but just was wondering if it held up?

Gold40Runner

looks awesome! Jc concepts chassis? Have you modded much other than the wheels and chassis?

Nimyad

Custom made chassis, yeah I've modded quite a bit actually. I'm running berg gears in the front axle, plastic gears in the rear, custom servo/battery mount, custom links and drag link/tie rod, aluminum front knuckles, and cut n shut tires.

Pretty much lol. The gear cases, axle tubes, axle shafts, motors, rear knuckles, and rx/tx are all original.

just like a real rig! The mods never stop!

Look and sounds like a good deal. Where can I get one?

Duh didn't see it in your first post! :hammerhead:

Wainiha

Pretty cool.  I'd probably spend that money on a Marlin product though.  Maybe a short throw shifter.  Or some sliders.

Or maybe I should quit building my truck and change my hobby to RC crawlers.  Cheaper. :headscratch:
