She's an AZ girl. Then she moved to CO and finally CA. All the CA smog is present however. I'll try and get some pics of the rust.

Um, its a salvage title, you put 20k miles on it since you bought it, removed the rear All-Pro bumper, advertise as new brake stuff, did you remove the stereo too? That's just off the top of my head. You cut and pasted from the previous owners ad from when you bought it and represent the new stuff as being new. You are asking for $500 more than what you bought it for and it seems that all you have done is drive and wheel it.

That is what happens when you do work to a vehicle like new tires and actually tighten bolts so things don't fall off on the trail, like the t-case output shaft.  He has not sad anything is new, that is not new.  The all pro bumper is not mentioned in the new add, nothing about new brakes, and where do you get off with "did you remove the stereo too?".  I will let him defend the salvage title part.  Why don't you go back to pirate with the other children who have nothing better to do than surf the net and flame people.  Just like you guys, start a new profile just to talk trash.  Grow up.

Oh and the price started out the same as the original.  Have you ever bought a vehicle and haggled on the price, you need a little wiggle room.  Wait a minute, you probably cant even drive so you cant buy a vehicle.

for real "papa smurf" you get a SN just to flame this dude,  a guy cant make a $   isnt that what the stealership does, buy cheap sell for more,????   dummy  get off this guys back. get your own rig and forget other people mess, i mean business

I hate to see when someone is just trying to sell their rig and people make assumptions. You may want to talk with him and ask about the quality of all the improvements and repairs made since he took ownership. I've always thought the owner of a rig knows more about how it runs, works, and drives better than someone who hasn't ever seen it before. Guess I was wrong. I've seen this rig in action and it's run flawless every time! Good luck Welshdragon!

I really don't want to hijack my own thread rebuting ignorant comments made by a guy who has been on the forum all of a couple hours and at this point has only seen fit to trash me. Now that being said I'm not removing your comments, it's important to show what the facts really are.
Yes, I cut and paste the original "list of upgrades" to another forum I belong to. Frankly I have a horrible memory and would not have remembered all of what was done.
Yes, it is a salvaged title, I'm not gonna lie man, I didn't copy that to my other forum and I did'nt remember until you said something (thanks btw, honestly appreciate that).
I posted that there were 70,000 miles on a rebuilt motor hence the 70,000 miles on a rebuild and not 50,000; difference 20,000.
I did not advertise the All Pro bumper as there is not one on the truck. I didn't really like the bumper, the front is more of a plate bumper and the rear was tube. I was, prior to deciding to sell the truck, working on fabbing one from a receiver hitch and rectanglular tube.
Not sure what you meant in your PM when you said broke axles, used spares taking stuff off the truck and what not. Kevin; thats your name right, from Fullerton? I've never wheeled with you don't know why you showed up here.

PpaZmrf

When were you going to mention the salvage title? After the money had been transfered? As it is, you wasted my time. I was interested in purchasing, I looked into shipping, hashed it over with the wife, even called a few buddies in your area. You took time to cut and paste, but you also took the time to OMIT important details. I logged on here to save somebody else the headache of working out a deal with you and then finding out what is REALLY for sale. As for assumptions: where there's smoke, there's fire.

He is advertising "Rebuilt calipers and Rotors" as cut and pasted from the original ad. OP have you rebuilt these again yourself? Also: New alt, water pump, oil pump and radiator as per the original ad. Did you replace these yourself as well or does it all have 20k miles on it?

the truck is worth what he is asking. fair deal  who cares  go find a different 4runner and let somebody get this ready to ride rig  GLWS    go piss on some one else back

At what level is your reading comprehension, 2nd grade.  The original pirate post makes no mention about about new alt, water pump, oil pump.  The brake calipers are "rebuilds" not OE.  Why don't you ask him instead of flaming him.  And it's not like you wasted important time.  You were just sitting in front of the computer for hours on end anyway.  Go away, we are adults here.

Dude! Seriously! Thats enough! I will start deleting your comments off my ad! If you continue the harassment I'll get a moderator involved. Don't be a putz.

PpaZmrf,

You've had your say and have made aware the previous ad of the vehicle. In my opinion it only better establishes Welshdragon79 as someone who 1) knows how to care for a vehicle and 2) knows how to value his invested hard work.

I understand you do have a personal reason to be disgruntled as you took purchasing this rig seriously (even to the point of discussing it with your wife), but whenever you buy something used from a private party you must assume the risks yourself. If the seller chooses not to disclose what you consider to be an important fact, then it is your choice and your opportunity to seek details before you sign the pink slip. I admit I am partial to the importance of a salvaged title, as my beloved daily driver (my Supercharged 1987 MR2) is salvaged (I salvaged it myself back in 1999), so in my opinion a salvaged title on a vehicle that is 25+ years old and used on roads with an overabundance of hazards (ie. Rock Crawling) isn't going to make one less of a difference on said vehicle and said vehicle usage. [Is an insurance company going to care if you rolled a truck that is or isn't salvaged while improperly using the vehicle (off pavement at 10,000 elevation on the Dusy/Ershim trail)? You'd be screwed either way.]

I believe Welshdragon79 has been honest, the truck looks in the conditioned as advertised, he took the time to upload many important photos which only demonstrates his ability to take care of the truck, and I think this is a good deal for whoever ends up buying it. That being said, you do have a right to share your opinion, once, but there isn't much of a point short of winning the special Olympics to argue with forum members who have invested the time and care enough to be part of our Online Community.

I was going to leave this at a warning until I noticed you copied this over to the old ad on Pirates, which is an extremely childish move in my honest opinion. Therefore I have placed you on a 3 day ban to think things over. I hope you can find the truck of your dreams someday and I wish Welshdragon79 best of luck in selling his rig.

Regards,
BigMike
