Hi, I just completely rebuilt my what i believed to be original diff out of my 86 yota sr5, and I can't find anything on the numbers on the case.  It says A5Y6 or 45Y6 i can't tell. I really hope it's the original and matches my front or i just screwed up big. I put a brand new eaton truetrac limited slip unit in it and all new bearings and seals. I only did this so my 4x4 would work and not tear my transfer case to crap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If its a 5 speed, chances are its a 4.11 or 4.10, I believe anyway..

count your ring and pinion teeth

Nimyad

Count the teeth, there should be markings on the ring gear that gives the count of ring and pinion teeth.
